Q: What Does the Delivery Entail?
A: ALL rental fees include delivery, set-up, pick-up, clean-up and sales tax to locations located within a 25-mile radius of Knoxville TN.
There will be an additional delivery fee charged depending on the distance from our warehouse outside of Knoxville.
Q: Are You Fully Insured?
A: We are fully-insured and can provide a Certificate of Insurance with at least 3 days notice. We can also list schools, churches & professional organizations as an "additional insured" with at least 3 days notice.
Q: What if I'm Having my Party Somewhere With no Electricity?
A: We can provide a generator to locations without electricity for an additional fee of $75.00. This fee is good for the entire rental time and we provide one tank of gas.
Q: Do I Have to Put Down a Deposit?
A: No deposit required. We just ask that you notify us as soon as possible if your plans change so that we may be able to re-rent the unit.
Q: What if The Party is Rained Out?
A: IF IT IS RAINING or High Winds , unfortunately, we will be UNABLE to deliver and set up your unit. NO charge to the customer.
IF IT IS THREATENING TO RAIN, the customer has the option for us to deliver and set up. If the customer chooses not to have the unit delivered, there will be NO charge to the customer.
IF THE CUSTOMER CHOOSES to have delivery and set up, we will provide the customer with a tarp in case of rain. If it rains, the customer is required to TURN OFF the blower and put the tarp over the unit. When it stops raining, the customer can remove the tarp and TURN ON the blower. NOTE: If wet, these units get very slippery and can be dangerous, please use towels to dry off the unit upon re-use.
NO REFUNDS%u2014Remember, it is the customer's choice whether or not to have the unit delivered. If the customer chooses to have the unit delivered and set-up, unfortunately, no refunds will be given due to the time spent in delivery, set-up and pick-up (which the units are much heavier and more difficult to maneuver when wet), and the many hours it will take to clean and dry out the unit.
Q: Are Your Units Sanitized?
A: Our Units are sanitized before every rental.
Absolutely no food, drink of any kind, sand, gum, candy or silly string allowed in unit%u2014these items can damage or stain the vinyl and cause additional clean-up, if the unit is found with such items in the unit upon pick up an additional fee of $75 will be charged at time of pick up.
Q: How much does it cost?
A. Our pricing can be found by selecting the "Order by Date" button on the top menu and choose your type of party. You can also click on the Reserve Now button on the top menu to reserve your time. Q: What are the rules for the deposit?
A:We require no deposit, but we do appreciate if you decide to cancel that you would please call us in advanced to do so. This is an advantage for our customers but may in the future have to change this if we get took advantage of.
Q: How much space do I need?
A: My general answer is approximately the size of a tennis court, but there are a lot of factors that come into play. If you have a large group (greater than 12 people), you would want to increase the size of the field from this default. Also, if you have minimal walls or obstacles to hide behind in a close area, you would want to have a larger area.
But here is the good news. We have made battlefields work in so many different size homes and neighborhoods. If you have gates on both sides of your back yard, we can play front yard versus back yard. This greatly reduces the space requirements. You can join with your neighbors and play across multiple front yards. In cul-de-sacs, we can play across the common area and front yards. A lot of neighborhoods have common areas or parks that are open to its residence to have events like ours.
Whether you live in an apartment or a 500 acre spread, we can provide laser tag fun to you. Looking to save money? Combine parties with other parents and share the costs! Some parents do that with us and we always treat our birthday persons special. We can split the payments at the event for your convenience.
Q: Where are you located? I want to come by and see the place.
A: We are a mobile system and do not have a set battlefield. We are based out of Knoxville, TN but set up a battlefield in a location of your choosing. This can be at your home or business, youth group camp, or many other locations. We have set up in many areas around Knoxville and have probably had a battle somewhere near you.
Q: When do you arrive?
A: Depending on the type of event you reserve, we will be there 30 minutes to 1 hour before the planned start time. For our base event and smaller setups, 30 minutes is all we need. If we run into traffic or other delays, our Event Manager will call you with an update. Please ensure your contact information is correct for the day of the event.
Q: How do Summer Camps Work?
A: During our Summer Camp season, we will come to your Summer Camp and run events for 2, 4 or 8 hours.
Q: I live outside the Knoxville area, will you drive to me?
A: Yes, but we do charge a mileage charge outside our standard Knoxville area. For the most accurate quote on mileage, you can give us a call.
Q: Does Laser Tag Knoxville drop off the equipment and I run the party?
A: No, Laser Tag Knoxville brings the equipment and the personnel to run the game. Depending on the setup, we can take 30 minutes to 1 hour to setup before the event. Our team commanders will train the new recruits to use the equipment and the rules of the many games that we can play. The commanders will direct the teams through the games and help motivate the teams. Your job is to have fun.
Q: Does my kid really need to be 5 years or older to play?
A: YES. While some of the guests could be 5 (which is normal for a six-year-old's birthday party), we do not go younger than 5, no exceptions. We know that some parents believe they have a "strong" 5 year old, but it just isn't a good idea to play the game at that age. Through experience, the under 5 and 6 crowd gets very disinterested after a couple of games. The guns are heavy and it becomes work for them to play the game. Adult assistance may be needed.
Q: I need team building! My office is constantly snapping at each other and we need some release. What do you do for team building?
A: Laser Tag Knoxville is a TEAM sport. We don't talk about individual scores and single accomplishments. Although we can set the games up to be individual accomplishments , we are happy to set up games to promote Team building. Teams are given objectives and they must work together to accomplish those objectives. We can even cater to areas that your office might need work. Sometimes communication is a big issue within teams. I know you might not believe me, but it happens. With large battlefields, we can create scenarios that requires the team to work together, create a plan and communicate as the battle changes. Sometimes just the simple act of getting out there and playing the game is all the steam release that is needed.
Q: What happens if it rains?
A: We will work with you on a replacement date for the event. Our equipment can handle light rain/mist, but usually our soldiers like to stay dry. There is usually a 2 - 3 day warning when weather is looking bad. If you start to have concerns, get in touch with us and we can work to come up with the solution.
Q: Can we play indoors? We have a gym at our Church/School.
A: Laser Tag Knoxville has done several indoor events for youth groups. Such events require the larger inflatables to create an indoor battlefield, but a basketball court is easily a large enough area to have a good battle. We have done overnight lock-ins with school and church youth groups. Playing this game in a dimly lit gym is an amazing experience. Capture the Flag is absolutely amazing.
